The masthead unit is an instrument for the measurement of wind speed and direction. The carbon vane offers significant lightness and excellent resistance to vibrations; with very low inertial motion and hence high reactivity, this sensor is the ideal tool for regatta racer who wishes to obtain the variations of wind direction instantaneously. It is connected to the TOPLINE bus of your installation.
Provides access to:
- The true wind speed and angle in knots or m/s if it is coupled to the loch speedometer.
- The air temperature in degree Celsius or Fahrenheit.
